I was approached by The Commonwealth Project, an organization engaged in high-level advocacy aiming to make medical cannabis more accessible to people over 65 years old. Having seen my documentary CBD Nation, they asked me and my production company, Mad Machine Films, to produce a video for their advocacy purposes.

 

We produced a 15 minute documentary that involved interviews with senior policymakers and professionals in the healthcare, insurance and pharmaceutical worlds, as well as 10-minute, 5-minute and 1-minute versions.

Just how high-level is their advocacy work? At least two presidents watched our video, as well as senior senators and congresspeople, in addition to other senior stakeholders.

Bret Baier of Fox News even used several minutes of our film in two prime-time segments he produced about making medical cannabis more accessible for older Americans.
